It is registered with the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services &#8211; Dept of Non Governmental Organisations \u2013 RNGO <strong>RNGO101\/1509\/2021.<\/strong> The movement\u2019s sole purpose is improving community health through research and training.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To improve community health through research, community education, training of community based agents, and building lasting collaborations with community leaderships and relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VISION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our vision is to see Healthy Communities in both urban and rural Geolocations, with community leaders and stakeholders highly involved in the health of their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VALUES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZAMCHA upholds the following values in all its endeavors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compassion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Love<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dedication to Duty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decisiveness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honesty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accountability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Courage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZAMCHA is a non profit organisation whose objectives are as follows<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To conduct research for evidence-based health practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Encourage utilization of Reproductive health Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Train different subsets of Community \u2013 Based Agents on prevention control and early detection of Non-communicable diseases (NCDs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To ensure key social determinants of health are met for rural communities \u2013 provision of clean water and sanitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve the nutrition status of urban and rural communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Improve first trimester attendance of Antenatal clinics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve adolescent health services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve access to healthcare for Orphans and the vulnerable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve health services for Key Populations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To establish income generating activities among community groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To ensure that Health is observed as a basic human right<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Collaborate with local leadership to end early child marriages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To promote \u00a0Girl Child education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To care \u00a0for disabled children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To promote \u00a0Occupational health and Safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To promote healthy living for the Aged and Aging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve health services for the mentally ill and physically \u2013challenged<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Zambian Movement for Community Health Action (ZAMCHA) is a non governmental organisation&nbsp; founded in 2001.
